The winter season 2024-2025 has started without receiving a great help from Mother Nature, but thanks to the great work of our staff we have been able to complete all the tracks that have artificial snow. We are waiting for you with 7 km of slopes along the Campiol and Malga Varena rings, in anticipation of presenting you soon some new very characteristic tracks with a breathtaking landscape.
News & Events
HERE WE GO!
On Thursday, December 7th will officially start the 2023-2024 season at Lavazè Ski Center. A track of 6,5 km is ready thanks to the artificial snow, which has been covered by natural snow over the past few days. Is there any better condition to jump in the cross country ski mood?
Winter is finally here.
Natural snow has visited us together with very cold temperatures typical of January month. Pro athletes, expert amateurs and beginners find perfect condition at Passo Lavazè all over the 40 kilometres of ski tracks, well prepared with care and attention by our staff.
We invite you to spend exciting journeys on snow at our spectacular plateau where you can find restaurants and mountain huts with a long culinary art tradition as well as the Greta&Gummer Snow Park, a big entertainment area for adults and kids.
More kilometers and big Champions
After a long period, finally snow came back to visit us at Passo Lavazè. From Wednesday, January 12th we will be ready with 25 kilometers of ski tracks, among them there are the beloved “Malga Ora” and “Passo Oclini”. Many athletes of national teams from all over the world will train on the amateur’s side until the end of the month. Don’t miss the opportunity to meet and watch extraordinary Champions at their best. Cross Country and Nordic Combined skiers as well as biathletes are here. The Winter Olympic Games of Beijing 2022 are around the corner and Passo Lavazè is the perfect place to prepare this appointment.
The Lavazè Pass Cross-country Ski Centre is adhering to the closing regulations that will come into force starting from Monday 15 March 2021.
We do it reluctantly, but confident that this will allow us to meet in a few months stronger and more serene for a new summer, made up of walks, fresh air and enchanted mountains.
As long as the snow conditions allow it, a few kilometres will still be groomed for those who can come and ski.
A heartfelt thanks to all those who have kept us company in this colourful winter!
After weeks of polar cold or spring heat, the snow returned in the night and the guys from the Team-Courses went out early in the morning to prepare the tracks. Check here the updated situation.
Another 10 centimeters of fresh snow, winter continues at the Lavazè Pass where the 67 km of groomed courses for cross-country skiing allow you to vary trails, gradients and incredible views.
Dear Friends of the Cross-Country Ski Centre of Passo Lavazè
In these days we have started to produce artificial snow and together with what we hope will be copious from the sky, we are working hard day and night to be able to open the courses as soon as possible, for all of you, and in complete safety.
After dark, there is always light and we are sure that we will see each other again soon!
CLOSED TRACKS
The snowfall of the last few days has allowed teams and amateurs to have a little taste of skiing on the courses of the Lavazè Pass Cross-Country Ski Centre. Now this is no longer possible and so let's meet everyone at the official opening, which we hope will be soon! Stay tuned!

40k courses open!
The commitment of the staff of the Ski Center Lavazè continues to ensure the perfect courses so appreciated by all lovers of cross-country skiing. Last night the snow-guns started firing again and with the background of the Pala di Santa, Latemar and Catinaccio/Rosengarten, this is the result today.
MALGA ORA COURSE OPEN
The work of the staff of the Lavazè cross-country ski center never stops: the Malga Costa track, affected by further crashes caused by the heavy snowfall in November, has been freed and is now open. Don't forget to stop by Angelika and Benjamin to taste their traditional dishes and desserts and to welcome the newcomer Jonathan.
Our Christmas present for you.
With the addition of the Capanna Nuova course in the Aldino district, we are at 37 km of cross-country skiing trails perfectly set up and accessible in both techniques. HAPPY CHRISTMAS
THE SUN WILL BE BACK!
The forecasts give plenty of sunshine and ideal temperatures during the Christmas holiday week! The right occasion to try out the tracks of the Cross-country Ski Center to dispose of Panettone and Pandoro. And do not forget that there are also walks to do with snowshoes or winter boots.
Visit the site to see what you can do at Christmas time at the Lavazè Pass!
It starts again at full speed at the Cross-country Ski Center!
After a few days (and nights) dedicated to the production of artificial snow and the arrangement of some sections of track, the weekend promises to be sunny and ... with 20 km of courses both for classic and skating techniques. The staff was great, and with passion and determination (and sleepless nights) it was committed to preparing, or rather, confirming, one of the ten most beautiful tracks in Italy, the Lavazè Pass.
And on Sunday we return to slide and play in the Greta & Gummer Snowpark!
What a fantastic weekend!
What a fantastic weekend we spent with you: the reopening, after last year's absence, of the so loved Malga Ora course, two days dedicated to the fun of children in the Snowpark Greta & Gummer, the Demo Day with the free ski test of the most prestigious brands in the world and a splendid sun to accompany all this. In the coming days the Torbiera track will be closed to allow further artificial snow production and also the park to be able to proceed with the transport of the timber, but the Lavazè Pass Cross-Country Ski Center remains open with its courses which, as you told us, are spectacular!
The Malga Ora track is open...
... as well as its restaurant!
Another 8 km added to the total of 20 kilometres of the Lavazè course, accessible to all cross-country skiers and why not ... even to those who do not disdain a regenerated break with typical local dishes at the Auerleger Alm. And if you do not ski, remember that you can reach the restaurant also afoot.
ARE YOU READY FOR FUN?
Children and parents, are you ready for fun? Saturday 7 December opens the Greta & Gummer SnowPark at the Lavazè Pass with the sledges and bobsleigh course to slide on the snow and the colourful parterre with lots of games for the little ones. And while they have fun, mum and dad can sunbathe, which apparently will not fail, on comfortable deck chairs. To celebrate the opening, and as an early Christmas present, entry to the park on Saturday will be free! Do not miss the beautiful weekend that awaits you at Lavazè, a spectacle of nature.
The Torbiera course reopens for the weekend and is added to the Campiol and Variante Varena. And the renowned Passo Lavazè Ski School, specializes in teaching all techniques and for all levels, also opens for the winter season.
While waiting for the next snowfalls or cold temperatures for the production of artificial snow, the Lavazè Cross-country Ski Center guarantees 6 km of perfectly prepared courses for both techniques: more than enough to start training or simply to enjoy a spectacular panorama.
Ready, steady, go...
The winter season on the Passo Lavazè slopes has officially begun and we hope it will be long and white and will fully satisfy your desire to ski! The open courses are the Campiol, the Torbiera and the Variant Malga Varena, for a total of about 12 kilometers.
Not bad to start with!
